Our smaller vehicles - Clio, Piglet, Froggy, Tigger, Hugo
Clio is our small Volkswagen camper. It's just under 5m long, has heating and cooking facilities, a two beds, and is small enough to fit under most car park barriers thanks to its pop-up roof. It also has 4 travelling seats so if you can travel light, young kids can come too (we recommend hiring the optional drive-away awning tent). There's no bathroom or running hot water, so this suits people looking for a stripped-down holiday experience but in a van that can go anywhere a car can go.
Piglet
is our 2024 compact camper. Despite its modest 6.0m length it manages to pack in a shower, toilet, hob, sink, fridge, TV, dining table and 4 travelling seats. Piglet sleeps 2 people in a double bed at the back, but you don't need to make it every day as you have a table and 4 seats up front. There's reasonable (if not vast) storage space and a small cooking space, and can feel a bit cramped so probably best suited for rentals of no more than a week. Piglet gives you ultimate go-anywhere versatility in a brilliantly thought-out package.
Froggy is our 2025 long camper van. It's the same as Piglet but 40cm longer, giving a larger washroom and two twin beds some 6'3" long, which can be made into a superking. There's a further single 5'11" bed up front with a 4'7" section beside it, suitable for a child. Froggy has generous storage so works well for couples and younger families undertaking anything from a short break to several weeks in Europe, without having to worry about the width of a motorhome.
Hugo is our compact motorhome - the same length as Piglet at 6 metres, but about 40cm wider. There's a lot more space inside than Piglet, but you lose the wide side door and opening rear doors so you feel less connected to the outdoors. An electric double bed descends from the ceiling so you don't need to make up the bed every day, which is accessed using a ladder. There's a second double bed which can be made up from the dining seats. The bathroom has a decent sized shower cubicle and dressing area, plus a toilet. It has 4 travelling seats and can dine 6 in comfort with its very generous living space. Storage is quite limited so it's for people happy to pack light. We have two Hugos, both with automatic gearboxes.
Tigger is the same size as Hugo and has one major difference - the bed is a fixed 'French' design at the rear of the van which doesn't need steps to access, making it ideal for singles or couples with mobility issues or who just want a bed on hand any time. This design means the dining area and bathroom are smaller than Hugo's, but still more than adequate for two people. The front seats swivel so you can still comfortably seat 4 around the large table, and the bathroom features a clever 'swing-wall' design which stops the toilet from getting wet when you're showering. Tigger has a manual gearbox.
Our larger vehicles - Goose and Rooster
Rooster
is our mid-size 6.4m motorhome. It has an electric drop-down bed and a fixed double bed at the back. This rear bed sits above a huge garage accessible from the outside of the van on both sides, which is perfect for bikes (including electric). There's a compact but practical wetroom with toilet, basin and shower. The dining area seats 4 around a moveable table, with swivelling front seats. There's an automatic gearbox and good internal storage, along with a gas hob and small oven, and a large fridge. The efficient heating and hot water can run from electric hookup or gas. You can add a bike rack and a drive-away side tent as optional extras. We have two Roosters. Rooster1 has a height adjustable rear bed. Rooster2 has a 170bhp engine upgrade. Both have Isofix.
Goose is our full-size 7.0m motorhome. It has a large U-shaped lounge with windows all the way around and a big table, making a comfortable space for the family to gather around to eat and relax. Above these spaces are two electric drop-down double beds. There are 4 travelling seats, a generous shower room, extensive storage space inside and an external locker for your outdoor kit. You can add a bike rack and a drive-away side tent as optional extras. Ideal for families of up to 4, sharing couples, or couples just wanting more space and luxury. Facilities and systems are the same as the Roosters.
